Fellowship is a distinguished designation the American Society of Hypertension
(ASH) confers on its physician members, a recognition of professional
Based on outstanding credentials, achievements and community contributions
to hypertension and related cardio-renal disorders, ASH fellowship designation
represents to colleagues and patients demonstrated competence and commitment
to excellence in hypertension investigations and clinical practice.
ASH Fellowship is conferred on cardiologists, endocrinologists, nephrologists,
internists, scientific investigators and academicians, among others.
Eligible physicians are designated as Fellows at the Annual Scientific
Meeting of the Society subsequent to Committee review of applications
and nomination to Fellowship.
ASH Fellow Benefits
- ASH Fellows are entitled to add FASH (Fellow of the American Society of
Hypertension) to their professional credentials.
- ASH Fellows are presented with a certificate of achievement and an ASH
Fellow Pin attesting their status as ASH Fellows during the Fellow convocation
ceremony at ASH Annual Scientific Meetings.
ASH Fellows are recognized each year in a published roster of new ASH Fellows
in the Journal of the American Society of Hypertension (JASH) , as well
as on the Society website.
