ASH Members-Only Online Forum/Chat Room
This year ASH has launched a new, virtual, on-going online chat room to link ASH members and provide a platform for exchange of information on hypertension related issues. Members can access this chat room at any time, virtually to (1) discuss scientific and clinical issues relating to hypertension, (2) share questions and comments about treating hypertensive patients, (3) engage with other ASH members via the private message (PM) box feature, and (4) view live audio clips of ASH activities, e.g, the 2008 Hypertension Community Outreach Initiative held at its Annual Scientific Meeting in New Orleans.

Each month an ASH Board Member or Committee Member is assigned as Moderator to virtually review and address questions and inquiries. In addition, the Host Moderator is present “live” every Wednesday evening, 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM EASTERN TIME to confer on questions and comments regarding Hypertension research, statistics, and treatment, etc.

To participant in this invigorating new member benefit, please visit the ASH Members-Only Online Forum/Chat Room at http://ashforum.comresource.net/phpbb3/index.php.

  ASH FLASH
To communicate --effectively and immediately-- items of importance to its members, the Society has inaugurated a sleek, new email format the ASH FLASH. The ASH FLASH serves as a means for the Society’s to provide ASH Members with immediate information on Society issues, programs, scheduled events, announcements, direct links to current ASH CME activities, publications and notices . The ASH Flash is also used to provide information each week on the Host Moderators for the ASH Forum/Chat room and related notices.

If you have not yet received the ASH Flash via e-mail please contact the Membership Department at membership@ash-us.org.
