Young Investigator-in-Training Abstract Competition

Top 3 Abstracts

1st Place: $1,500
2nd Place: $800
3rd Place: $500

The top five (5) scoring abstracts will be scheduled as oral presentations in the Abstract competition Session during the ASH 2008 Meeting in New Orleans. All finalists will also receive complimentary registration.

Purpose
To encourage new investigators to undertake or continue hypertension research, participate in the ASH Annual Scientific Meeting and engage in discussion with senior investigators.

Eligibility
Graduate students (medical, nursing, PA and pharmacy students) post-doctoral fellows and residents who are the first author of one or more abstract(s) accepted for presentation at the ASH Twenty-Third Annual Scientific Meeting

Judging
Abstracts will be judged based upon the quality of the study reported including, originality, clinical relevance and scientific merit, given vetting by abstract reviewers.
