The Society established Regional Chapters, which address local clinical and socioeconomic issues for those individuals involved in treatment strategies for patients with hypertension and cardiovascular disease. Current ASH Regional Chapters include: The Carolinas and Georgia Chapter (North & South Carolina, Georgia), the Delaware Valley Chapter ( Delaware, Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey), the Eastern Regional Chapter (Connecticut, northern New Jersey, New York), the Gulf Central Regional Chapter (Alabama, Louisiana & Mississippi), The Mid-Atlantic Chapter (District of Columbia, Maryland, Virginia), and The Texas Chapter.
