2010 ASH Annual Scientific Meeting- 25 Years in the Making

The 31 ASH Members of the 2010 Scientific Program Committee met on July 25th, 2009 to organize the upcoming program for the May 1-4, 2010 ASH Annual Scientific Meeting to be held at the Hilton Hotel & Towers in New York City--the 25th Anniversary of the Society!

Dr. Henry R. Black, Scientific Program Chair and President had identified three (3) concurrent themes for the 2010 Meeting: Pathobiology of Hypertension, Translational Issues in Hypertension, and Therapy of Hypertension. Among the highlights of the upcoming program are Hypertension Highlights 2010, Plenary Sessions, Meet the Expert Sessions, Case Discussions, Scientific Sessions, and several Joint Sessions. Also, continuing from last year’s meeting will be the successful “What the Hypertension Specialist Should Know” series and the Primary Care Clinician Program.

To honor the Society’s 25th Year Anniversary, the Opening Plenary Session will include a special session dedicated to the achievements of the Past Presidents of ASH and the Board and Committee Members with whom they served.
