MISSION:
The mission of the ASH Certified Hypertension Committee is to monitor, oversee and evaluate the management of the ASH Program certifying medical practices treating patients who have complex or difficult-to-treat hypertension. The Program – focused on enhancing hypertension patient care – is designed to evaluate each medical practice against a professional set of criteria based upon responses to a questionnaire and a rigorous review process by hypertension experts. Committee Members serve as reviewers for (a) initial applications and for (b) the reports submitted by Center on-site reviewers.
