Education Committee

MISSION:
The role and function of this Advisory Board on Education is develop and maintain the education goals, objectives and strategies of the Society –predicated on the Vision, Mission and Goals of the Society—that, in turn, will drive the educational programs of the organization. The Education Committee works collaboratively with the ASH CME Committee on CME accredited activities, and with the ASH Compliance Committee on an as-needed basis, to accomplish the following:

  • Develop the educational philosophy, policy and protocol for all Society programs and activities—whether for health care professionals or patients/public--in terms of content, pedagogy, etc. in relationship to the Vision, Mission, Goals and Objectives of the Society.
  • Conduct ongoing review of current ASH educational programs and activities (See attached file) in relationship to the foregoing as well as participant needs assessment and activity evaluations.
  • Review and evaluate any new education initiatives, programs and activities submitted in relationship to the foregoing.
